Dan Hopewell - Director of Knowledge and Innovation at London Region Social Prescribing presented these four regional webinars to upskill Sported members' knowledge about social prescribing.
Aims of the workshops
- To enable those working in sports to better understand social prescribing and sports organisation’s roles and contributions to health and to better understand the perspectives of both sectors;
- To explore the possible benefits which could come from closer working and identify what differences could be made to people’s health outcomes by doing so;
- To understand the barriers and enablers to greater collaboration between the sectors
- To agree what further work would be helpful to do together to progress the ideas that come out of the workshop.
